Corian worktop and breakfast bar

This Corian breakfast bar should be on every homeowners wish list. We love working with Corian and with results like these, it’s easy to see why. Corian solid surface offers durability, versatility and functionality in its design. It is a very popular choice for kitchen worktops due to it’s durability and is proving to be popular for breakfast bars too because of its strength. This breathtakingly beautiful kitchen was a pleasure to work on and it really does ooze sophistication. The Corian breakfast bar and worktop colour adds a warm welcoming feel to the kitchen that perfectly complements the interior. This lovely family wanted a bespoke kitchen breakfast bar and worktop and Corian seemed to fit their brief perfectly. The family first got their inpsiration from our island show piece at the Cornwall Home and Lifestyle Show. They fell in love with the chunky piece on show and instantly knew that this was what they had been looking for.  We arranged a meeting at their home to measure up and get a feel for the design. Whilst we were there, Adrian ran through the architects’ design for the new kitchen and worktops making sure every detail had been addressed. We really enjoyed this project and the end result of the Corian was stunning. It showed the flexibility of Corian and well it looks and perfect in the home. The design was finished with lighting which was added a lovely feature to the back panel on the underside of the breakfast bar. For the sink area, we used the Corian Sparkling sinks range with the matching Corian sides and stainless steel bottom. The routered drainer grooves add an extra touch to the sink and the finish looked seamless. These final touches really added to the upstand behind the sink unit and breakfast bar and gave a really durable and seamless finish.
