Corian reception desk

We had the honour of working with Ugalde funeral directors on their new premises. We carried out the full fit out works for the project, and carried out the full interior design for the front of house. The curves in the design of the building meant we could really experiment with some of the bespoke furniture elements. Adrian took a lot of time designing curve and different heights of the reception. The high section offers privacy for the receptionist behind, whilst the lower open section gives a good area for clients of all abilities to be able to speak, or use the surface. We used Corian to wrap the top of the reception and make the worktop in Weathered Concrete, Adrian book matched and hand laid beautiful Walnut veneers for the front curve. Whilst the two elements are both simple on their own, combine the elements together makes for a striking and practical reception desk that works perfectly.
